10 – the play room

If you genuinely surrender to that infant hand the first time your baby firmly grasps your pinky finger or later, when he or she grips your entire hand and says, “will you come play with me?”, your life slowly changes. Not overnight but over time.

While work filled my time, now play fills my soul. My daughter’s world of play is what dreams are made of. She is not only creating her own reality but living in it joyously and moment to moment. I, on the other hand, say silly mantras like “follow your heart”, which would be
possible if I could only cut off my head!
